Land Records Public Information Room

The public can view all instruments related to state transactions recorded in the Excursion Court Land Records Department-all instruments are bachelor online and computers are available in the Public information room to view and copy instruments related to state records in Montgomery County too as other counties in the State of Maryland through MDLandrec.net including – Land, Condominium plats, sub-division plats, liens, judgments and any financing statements recorded in country.

MDlandrec.net is currently free and tin be accessed through your habitation or part computer. When y'all access this service for the first fourth dimension you volition be required to fill out an application for login (note: a valid e-mail address is required). You volition receive a countersign via e-mail within approximately 1 60 minutes of completing the awarding on a normal business day. Land records books

The Land Records Department handles all matters relating to existent estate transactions. The Department holds some of the about important records created by the regime, which date equally far back as July 1777. These state records are publicly accessible through the Cyberspace, also equally at the department.

The Indexing Department indexes all documents recorded in the State Records Recording Section. The staff can also provide triple seals of any instruments recorded in the Land Records Section. Self-service of regular copies is also available, but you must purchase a Quick Fundamental to unlock images and duplicate documents. The Fundamental is available for buy from the Duplications Department (North Tower, Rm 2300). You may add coin to your Key at whatsoever fourth dimension during normal business concern hours. All deeds with agricultural use and partial transfers must go through the Maryland Section of Assessments and Taxation, located at xxx W Gude Drive, Suite 400, Rockville, Doc 20850. The deed must have a Certification of Preparation. The attorney who prepared the certificate or i of the parties named in the instrument must sign the Document.

The grantors (sellers) must sign the deed, which should be acknowledged before a Notary Public.

The packet ID# must exist typed or printed on the deed. The packet ID# is located in the upper right corner of your tax beak. Information technology would be the same every bit your business relationship number.
